Brett & Bryan

August 8, 2026

It all began with a simple first date at the dog park.
Bryan arrived a little nervous. Brett showed up with his trusty sidekick, Bruce—the spirited Pomsky who had no idea he was about to play wingman. Conversation flowed effortlessly. There was laughter, curiosity, and that unmistakable spark of something more—that feeling like the night was “magical, unforgettable, and enchanted,” even if neither of them knew it yet.

From that day on, Brett and Bryan pursued each other—in the most genuine, thoughtful way. Sweet messages, intentional plans, wine tastings, and little adventures near and far. Brett had felt the spark from the start. Together, they quickly fell for each other, and there was no turning back.

Their first year unfolded in Philadelphia. Brett balanced long days at HUP, while Bryan wrapped up his MBA at Wharton. Amid busy schedules, they carved out a life full of meaning—late-night talks, neighborhood dinners, dog walks with Bruce through Fitler Square, and dreams of what their future could hold.

Then came the distance.

Bryan took a job in New York, and for a year their love stretched across train rides and FaceTimes. It wasn’t easy, but they never let go. Still, something was missing. Bryan couldn’t stand being away—from the home they’d created, from the rhythm of life with Brett, and yes, from Bruce too.

So, he came back.

Back to Philadelphia. Back to the little moments that made life feel full. Back to Brett and Bruce, where his heart had already taken root. The last year has been spent living, growing, and loving in the city that first brought them together.

And then came Positano.

On a cliffside terrace, with the Amalfi sun stretching out over the sea, he knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring. Brett said yes. Bruce wasn’t there, but they know he would’ve barked his approval.

This is the love story of Brett and Bryan. It began at a dog park with a spark—and now it’s headed toward forever.

Asked & Answered

We know this is a big trip with a lot of logistics, so we’ve added some information below to answer questions you may have!

How do we get to the Baha Mar resort?

Getting to Baha Mar from Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS):

Distance: ~10 miles / ~20–25 minutes by car (depending on traffic)

Options:
Taxi / Private Car: The most convenient option. Taxis are available outside the arrivals terminal, and a private car service can be booked in advance. Expect a fare of roughly $25–$35 USD.

Resort Shuttle: Baha Mar offers private and shared shuttle services. Advance booking is recommended to guarantee your spot.

Rental Car: Available at the airport if you’d like to explore Nassau and nearby beaches at your own pace. Parking is available at the resort.

Tip: Guests staying at any of the on-property resorts (Rosewood, SLS, or Grand Hyatt) can often arrange transportation directly with the front desk ahead of arrival.

What time does the ceremony start?

The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00pm. We recommend arriving at the venue no later than 3:45pm so that you can easily find a seat.

Do I need to stay the entire weekend?

While we do hope you can join us all weekend, we understand if you’re unable. Please let us know what your plans are so we can coordinate excursions and dinners accordingly.

Is there a dress code?

On our wedding day, we request Elevated Beach Cocktail Attire. Think chic, relaxed, and beach-appropriate with a polished twist. For women, flowy dresses, sophisticated sundresses, or elegant jumpsuits in light, airy fabrics work beautifully. For men, lightweight suits, linen blazers, or dress shirts with no tie in neutral or coastal tones like white, tan, or soft pastels. Footwear should be comfortable for sand or resort settings — stylish sandals or dressy flats are perfect.

As for the rest of the weekend, the dress code is Beach Casual, and nautical-inspired outfits are encouraged to keep the vibe fun and relaxed!
